Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VISIONFI, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("VisionFI," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://visionfi.ai, communicate with us, or use VisionFI services. That includes the VisionFI Document Intake text messaging (SMS/MMS) program.

The VisionFI Scout Notebook app has its own privacy policy at https://visionfi.ai/scout-notebook-privacy.html. That policy, not this one, covers the app.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything else you include when you contact us or use our services.
  • Session and document information: during an active session on the VisionFI platform, you may send documents or images, such as a photo of a driver's license or a vehicle identification number (VIN). We also collect the session code and any related details you submit.
  • Mobile and messaging information: if you text us, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of your messages (including photos and other media), the date and time of each message, delivery status, and your opt-in and opt-out status.
  • Website and technical information: standard log data such as IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and similar usage information.
  • Cookies and analytics: some pages of this website use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and support VisionFI services and the sessions you take part in;
  • verify and process documents you choose to submit for an active session;
  • respond to your requests and provide customer support;
  • maintain security, prevent fraud, and fix problems with our services;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

3. SMS/MMS messaging: VisionFI Document Intake

VisionFI Document Intake lets you send documents by text message during an active session on the VisionFI platform. Here is how it works:

  • You start the conversation. During your session, the screen shows a VisionFI phone number and a one-time session code. You choose whether to text that number, usually with the session code and a photo. We do not text you unless you text us first. The only exception is an automated reply to STOP or HELP.
  • How we use your messages. We use your phone number and messages only to receive your documents, attach them to your active session, send you a confirmation that we received them (usually one message per submission), and respond to STOP and HELP requests.
  • No marketing. This program does not send marketing, promotions, rate quotes, loan offers, or unsolicited messages.
  • Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for full program details.

We will not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

To deliver messages, we use messaging service providers, such as our telecommunications carrier and messaging platform. These providers process messages only to deliver the service on our behalf. They may not use your information for their own marketing.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

  • with service providers that help us operate our services (for example, hosting, messaging delivery, and security), under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide those services;
  • with the financial institution or other organization running the session you are taking part in, but only for the purpose of that session;
  • when required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VisionFI, our users, or others;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

None of these disclosures includes sharing mobile information or text messaging opt-in data and consent for promotional or marketing purposes. Section 3 above applies in every case.

5. Data retention

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy. For example, we keep messages and documents submitted through Document Intake as long as the related session, the financial institution's requirements, and applicable law require. We also keep records of your opt-in and opt-out choices as needed to honor them and to show that we comply with messaging rules. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Text messages: reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@visionfi.ai. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to keep some information to meet legal or contractual obligations.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
